Studio Make Light was started in 2004 with a bold experimental vision to light design - by taking the lighting out of the light. This focus on light rather than lighting embraces emergent technologies such as LED in creating a special and spatial quality to the user's experience of light. The design process explores creative possibilities through experimentation and collage with raw materials, teasing out their individual nuances and leaving the drawing board behind.

Studio Make Light specialize in lighting for commercial projects, commissioned lamps for private clients and
small production runs for the retail sector.

Having graduated with an MA in metal Craft from Seoul National University, Minsang on to complete his MA in Design Product at Royal College of Art in London.
